RB-C Lamella Clarifier — ISO Container Configuration
The RB-C Lamella Clarifier delivers high-rate solids separation in a fully containerised, plug-and-play format. Pre-assembled and factory-tested in a standard 20ft or 40ft ISO shipping container, the system is ready for rapid deployment at construction sites, mining operations, temporary treatment facilities, and emergency response scenarios.
The lamella plate pack is optimised to fit within standard ISO container dimensions while maximising projected settling area. The sludge zone, plate pack, and effluent collection system are arranged to satisfy transport limits and operational access requirements.
| Parameter | 20ft Container | 40ft Container |
|---|---|---|
| Max settler height | 2.0 m | 2.0 m |
| Plate pack length | 3–4 m | 8–9 m |
| Width | 1.8–2.0 m | 1.8–2.0 m |
| Sludge zone depth | 0.8 m | 0.8 m |
| Typical flow range | 1–15 m³/hr | 15–50 m³/hr |
Centrifugal stainless steel pump with variable frequency drive (VFD), matched to system capacity. Delivers consistent feed flow across the operating envelope.
Progressive cavity pump mounted on a dedicated skid within the container. Variable speed control handles sludge concentrations up to 15% dry solids.
External sludge pump option for sites requiring sludge transfer to remote dewatering or disposal points. Supplied with weather protection and DN80 flange connections.
Integrated coagulant and flocculant dosing system with diaphragm and progressive cavity metering pumps. Day tanks sized for 100–200 L capacity with low-level alarm.
All process piping is supplied in SS 316L or HDPE, selected for compatibility with the treated water chemistry. Flanged connections are provided at the container wall for rapid site hook-up.
Stainless steel V-notch effluent launder with adjustable weir plates ensures even flow distribution across the full width of the plate pack, preventing short-circuiting and maximising settled water recovery.
The RB-C control system is built around a Siemens S7-1200 PLC platform, providing automated sequencing, pump control, and remote monitoring capability. All I/O is wired to terminal blocks with clear identification for easy troubleshooting.
Reliable industrial controller with expandable I/O, integrated diagnostics, and proven performance in wastewater environments.
Colour touchscreen interface for local operation, alarm viewing, trend display, and manual override of all actuated equipment.
Variable frequency drive matched to the feed pump motor for flow modulation and energy-efficient operation across the design range.
Programmable timer-based sludge pump cycling with adjustable on/off intervals to match sludge production rate and prevent hopper compaction.
Standard Modbus RTU and TCP/IP interfaces for SCADA integration, remote telemetry, and connection to site-wide control networks.
| Parameter | Sensor Type | Range | Output |
