Containerised Oil-Water Separator
The RB-C Oil-Water Separator is a fully containerised treatment plant designed for rapid mobilisation to oil & gas fields, refinery sites, marine terminals, and industrial wash-down facilities. Each unit is factory-tested and delivered ready for connection, minimising on-site installation time and cost.
Every RB-C separator is designed around the physical limits of standard ISO containers while maximising treatment volume and operational access. Internal layout is optimised for operator safety, maintenance clearance, and efficient process flow.
API and CPI separator sections sized to fit within 20ft (6m) or 40ft (12m) container envelopes with end clearance for access and piping.
CPI coalescing packs and cross-flow media assemblies designed to clear container roof structure while maintaining plate settling area.
Dedicated free-oil accumulation zone at the water surface with automatic skimmer and level-controlled transfer to collection drum.
Hoppered or sloped bottom with 0.5 m sludge storage depth, timer- or level-controlled progressive cavity pump for automated desludging.
Centrifugal cast iron construction with variable frequency drive (VFD) for flow modulation. Handles inlet flow range 5-50 m³/hr with reliable solids passage.
Tube or belt type skimmer for continuous automatic oil removal from the separator surface. Discharges to a dedicated oil collection drum for off-site recovery.
Progressive cavity pump with bottom suction for reliable sludge withdrawal from the separator hopper. Timer-controlled operation with optional level-based override.
SS 316L or carbon steel process piping rated for oily wastewater service. Inlet and outlet connections DN80-DN150; sludge discharge DN50-DN80. Flanged or Victaulic couplings for rapid site hook-up.
Collection drum or tank with level sensor and auto transfer pump. Oil phase is continuously skimmed and pumped to storage for recycling or disposal.
The RB-C control system provides fully automated separator operation with local touchscreen interface and remote connectivity options. ATEX-rated enclosures are available for hazardous area installations.
Industrial-grade programmable logic controller with expandable I/O. ATEX-option available for Zone 1/2 deployment.
Colour touchscreen human-machine interface for local status viewing, alarm management, and manual override control.
Capacitive level sensor automatically starts and stops the oil skimmer and transfer pump based on oil layer thickness.
Progressive cavity sludge pump activated by programmable timer with optional ultrasonic level switch for demand-based desludging.
Ex-d or Ex-e control enclosures, intrinsically safe instrument loops, and certified components for hazardous area compliance.
