Packaged Dosing Skids

A packaged dosing skid is a complete dosing system on a single frame — storage or day-tank, dosing equipment, calibration, injection, control panel and containment — pre-piped, pre-wired and factory wet-tested before it leaves us. It arrives ready to connect to your services and chemical line, cutting site work, commissioning time and installation risk. We design and build them to your duty.

Building a dosing system from loose components on site is slow, error-prone and hard to test. A packaged skid moves that work into the factory: everything is mounted, piped, wired and wet-tested in controlled conditions, then delivered as one tested unit. Site work drops to connecting services and the chemical line; commissioning is faster and lower-risk; and the whole assembly is documented and repeatable.

What a Packaged Dosing Skid Contains

A complete dosing system, integrated on one frame.

  • Day tank or IBC station with level monitoring, sized to the dosing duty
  • Dosing pump(s) — duty/standby where critical; type matched to the chemistry (selection)
  • Calibration column, pulsation damper, PRV and loading valve
  • Isolation, non-return and injection assembly
  • In-line static mixer where dispersion is needed
  • Control panel with analyser inputs, PLC/controller and interlocks (control design)
  • Integral bund / drip tray and leak detection
  • Corrosion-resistant frame (GRP, coated steel or stainless) for the chemical environment

Single-reagent skid

One reagent, one or two pumps, control and containment — the workhorse for pH, coagulant or disinfectant dosing.

Multi-reagent skid

Full Automation & Control Panel

Every skid ships with an integrated, programmed and tested control panel — the automation is part of the build, not an add-on.

A dosing skid is only as good as its control. We design, build and program the control panel with the skid so it arrives fully automated: it paces the dose to flow, trims to an analyser, runs its own interlocks, and reports to your SCADA. What's in the control panel

  • PLC or dedicated dosing controller running the loops (flow-pace + analyser trim)
  • HMI touchscreen — set-points, mode (auto/manual/cascade), trends and alarms
  • VSDs / pump drives for proportional pump speed control
  • Analyser inputs (pH/ORP/residual/turbidity) and flow signal (4–20 mA / pulse)
  • Interlock I/O — level switches, leak detection, no-flow, duty/standby
  • Comms gateway — Modbus / Profibus / Ethernet / OPC to plant SCADA
  • MCBs, isolators, IP-rated enclosure rated for the chemical environment (and ATEX where required)

Automation for Each Skid

Single-reagent skid

One control loop: flow-paced with optional analyser trim (pH/ORP/residual). HMI set-point, low-level and no-flow interlocks, duty/standby auto-changeover, SCADA reporting. The standard automated pH, coagulant or disinfectant skid.

Multi-reagent skid

One panel coordinating several loops — shared flow-pacing, sequencing, cross-loop trim and recipe handling. Designed on multi-reagent systems. Fully automated start-up and shutdown of the whole set.

Polymer make-up & dosing skid

Automated wetting, ageing-timer and dilution control feeding a low-shear dosing pump — make-up and dose interlocked so the pump never runs on immature or empty solution. See polymer dosing.
