A packaged dosing skid is a complete dosing system on a single frame — storage or day-tank, dosing equipment, calibration, injection, control panel and containment — pre-piped, pre-wired and factory wet-tested before it leaves us. It arrives ready to connect to your services and chemical line, cutting site work, commissioning time and installation risk. We design and build them to your duty.
The case for factory-packaged dosing.
Building a dosing system from loose components on site is slow, error-prone and hard to test. A packaged skid moves that work into the factory: everything is mounted, piped, wired and wet-tested in controlled conditions, then delivered as one tested unit. Site work drops to connecting services and the chemical line; commissioning is faster and lower-risk; and the whole assembly is documented and repeatable.
One frame to position and connect instead of dozens of components to assemble and wire on site.
Calibrated and function-tested on water before dispatch — faults found in the works, not on your site.
Optimised footprint with integral drip-tray/bund — fits existing plant rooms.
Standardised, documented builds for multi-site rollouts and easy spares.
A complete dosing system, integrated on one frame.
One reagent, one or two pumps, control and containment — the workhorse for pH, coagulant or disinfectant dosing.
Several reagents on one frame with shared control — see multi-reagent systems.
Integrated ageing/dilution and dosing for flocculant polymer — see polymer dosing.
Every skid ships with an integrated, programmed and tested control panel — the automation is part of the build, not an add-on.
A dosing skid is only as good as its control. We design, build and program the control panel with the skid so it arrives fully automated: it paces the dose to flow, trims to an analyser, runs its own interlocks, and reports to your SCADA. Control design detail is on control & automation design; here is what sits on the skid.
| Level | How it doses | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Manual / fixed | Operator sets a fixed output | Constant flow & quality, batch |
| Flow-paced (feed-forward) | Output tracks plant flow | Varying flow, steady quality |
| Closed-loop (feedback) | Analyser drives the dose to set-point | Varying quality, short loop |
| Compound (cascade) | Flow-pace + analyser trim | Most duties — varying flow & quality |
| Fully automated | Auto start/stop, recipes, SCADA, alarms, self-diagnostics | Unmanned / remote sites |
One control loop: flow-paced with optional analyser trim (pH/ORP/residual). HMI set-point, low-level and no-flow interlocks, duty/standby auto-changeover, SCADA reporting. The standard automated pH, coagulant or disinfectant skid.
One panel coordinating several loops — shared flow-pacing, sequencing, cross-loop trim and recipe handling. Designed on multi-reagent systems. Fully automated start-up and shutdown of the whole set.
Automated wetting, ageing-timer and dilution control feeding a low-shear dosing pump — make-up and dose interlocked so the pump never runs on immature or empty solution. See polymer dosing.
Skid automation scaled to a full plant room with environmental control, gas detection, remote access and unmanned-site self-diagnostics. See containerised dosing.
Duty, chemistry and consent → equipment specification. See sizing.
