Self-cleaning filters suit any duty where a continuous, low-maintenance barrier against particles is needed and manual cartridge changes would be impractical. They protect RO membranes, heat exchangers, nozzles and spray systems from fouling; polish cooling-tower and process water; and screen intake and reuse streams — backwashing automatically on differential pressure or a timer without interrupting flow.
