The Decanter Centrifuge is a horizontal solid-bowl centrifuge with a helical scroll conveyor inside the bowl. Feed enters through a central pipe, accelerated to bowl speed by the scroll. Solids settle against the bowl wall due to centrifugal force (2,000-4,000 G) and are conveyed to the conical discharge end by the differential-speed scroll. Clarified liquid overflows at the cylindrical end. Continuous operation makes it ideal for high-volume applications.
