Flotation system for effective wastewater treatment, particularly for suspended solids, fats, and oils separation.

The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is a highly effective wastewater treatment solution that removes suspended solids, fats, oils, and grease from industrial effluents. Wastewater is mixed with chemicals and pressurised air in a saturator vessel. Micro-bubbles attach to contaminants, reducing their density and causing them to float to the surface for removal. The system achieves up to 95% solids removal and 99% FOG removal, making it ideal for food processing, beverage production, and industrial applications.

Dissolved-air flotation removes the solids that refuse to settle — fats, oils, greases, light flocs and low-density particles — by attaching them to clouds of micro-bubbles and skimming the resulting float. A recycle stream is saturated with air under pressure and released into the flotation cell, where the bubbles form and lift the solids to the surface. Properly coagulated and flocculated feed, the right bubble size and a correctly sized cell give clarified water to a tight suspended-solids and FOG target. We design DAF units to the load and the downstream consent, and pair them with chemical conditioning so the flotation does its job reliably across the real range of influent.
