The disinfection skid provides the final microbiological barrier as a tested, ready-to-run package — UV, chlorination or chlorine dioxide selected to the duty and the disinfection by-product constraints. UV systems are sized to the validated dose at end-of-lamp-life and worst-case transmittance; chemical systems are flow-paced with residual trim and the contact volume to achieve the required CT.
